W/E Splinter armour.
K, this is a build I use mainly for solo farming hydra's north of augury rock but u can also use it for minotaurs and griffons in the crystal desert. It's slow but works pretty good. If u use it for minotaurs be careful if u aggro a lot of em, cuz it can take ages now that they run of and heal alla the time. And dont aggro more than 4 hydras at a time.
Str - 12+3 Axe mastery -everything else Tactics - 7+1 Earth magic- 10
Skills - Glyph of renewal (elite) Splinter armour Cyclone axe Shield stance Bonetti's defence Armour of earth Dolyak signet Healing signet
Equipment Superier rune of Absortion, sup or major vigor I use a furious axe of enchanting, which is probly optimum, a shield with damage reduction is good too. Gladiator's (or radiant)armour.
Usage: Aggro a group of hydras, then activate dolyak sig b4 the first meteor hits. Then put up ur armour of earth too. At 15 str ur dolyak lasts for 20secs which is the same as its cooldown - try and keep those two skills up at all times. Use healing sig and activate shield stance as the hydras close to melee range. Then activate glyph then splinter armour as often as u can to do the damage. Cyclone axe is used to build adrenilin in order to activate bonettis to recharge mana and increase the amount of damage splinter armour deals (more blocks). Shield stance has a long recharge but is useful as u can use healing sig while it increases blocks for splinter armour, whereas bonnitti's will end as so as u use another skill. Note that only splinter armour and armour of earth will use up the glyph, which last for 15 secs, so when under pressure u can heal sig, activate it, heal sig, then activate splinter without a problem.

Crystal desert runner W/MO
This is a build for running al parts of the desert. There wil be always some people at Augery Rock who need a run so u always get money. Or just keep shouting running to the 3 missions 1,5k and after 5 minutes somebody wil react.
Atributtes tactics 11 healing prayers 8 strenght 11
skills Charge (elite) sprint healing signet mending endure pain balanced stance I wil survive
Equipment gladiators armor is preferd for energy, but u could also use totem axe instead decent armor
Usage With sprint and charge u can run 25% faster al the time. Because ur moving quite fast nothing should really be a problem. The only problems u wil encounter ar the worms and there is an area with quite alot losaru(in skyward reach just outside destineys gorge). At the losaru wait until u bleed, then u use i wil survive, and finally sprint and charge to get out of there. And if u get chased by a worm use balenced stance and charge and the worm wil go away. With this should its able to run to every mission+outpost in crystal desert(400g for every outpost,500 for every mission).
tip If u are running to the 3 missions ask ur party to pay 500g at every mission. This wil make sure that u dont get scamd for more then 1 place.

hehe - don't we all. My advice is to look at which area ur going to b4 deciding on skills because of the various environmental effects. E.g. - in the energy sapping area it would be advatageous to take adrenalin based skills and only a couple of low cost nrg skills - or at least a zealous weapon. Whereas in the 'dark' area skills that cannot be evaded might be very useful as ur attacks have a 50% chance to miss (I haven't tested this one tho....)
Also the critters there get meaner the more damage they take - so avoid AoE (area of effect) damage skills and try to spike creatures one by one (this is a team thing obviously).
The only specific skill I can recommend is to take mesmer as ur secondary and equip 'Mantra of Frost' and make sure u take a ranger with 'Greater Conflageration' and 'Winter' to turn all damage into cold damage. Again this should be a party-wide strategy. (If you see people going "LFG MoF Warrior" etc, this is what they're on about.)

W/Mo 55hp solo UW this build is mainly used to farm the Aatxe in Uw shown here>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p32nhiDrM1k&mode=related&search= in dont know if the Smites and darknesses are also possoble but il chek that out
the attrbutes that im using atm = healing prayers 11 protection prayers 8 swordmanship 13 tactics 9 skills: riposte deadly riposte bonettis defence vigorous spirit protective spirit healing breeze mending Balthazars spirit equipment= gladiators armour with 5 sup runes( no sup absortion), and the -50hp cesta and a decent sword.
Usage= when u come in UW cast the first enchantment on yourself. wait for al your energy to slowly regen and cast the second one. Aggro a group of Aatxe and cast prot spirit before they hot you and then healing breeze. Start hitting 1 Aatxe and let your adrenilen build up. use bonettis defence when its avaible. This should max our your energy and u can cast prot spirit, vig spirit healing breeze ripposte and then deadly ripposte. simply repeat this and they should die.
This is quite a diffucult build to master and it wil take some practice. if anyone has any ideas of improving this leave a post:)

Lol! You came to the right place for both of those builds! I have the Eskimo Build for my Ranger and it works a treat. All you need to take for the Eskimo build is the Mesmer skills Mantra of Frost, the catch is you CAN'T take any other Stances as this will cancel out Mantra of Frost. The key to the Eskimo build is to have a ranger in the party and he/she casts Greater Conflgration and then Winter. I can't find the build on PvX, gimme a shout when I'm online next and I'll show you the build. There's isn't that many Hammer skills in Pre-Searing, I think there's only two. The build that I use for Charr Farming is,
Skills, 1 Sever Artery 2 Gash 3 Bane Signet 4 Symbol of Wrath 5 Shielding Hands 6 Orison of Healing 7 Healing Signet 8 Res Signet
Using a shield with damage reduction when either enchanted or hexed and any good Sword. Some folk prefer the Rinblade, you can get that from the Weaponsmith in Pre-Searing Ascalon. What's even better is if you team up with a high level Monk that way you pretty much own the Northlands and can Tank the whole area.
