me thinks this deserves a thread. i'm quite interested to know which builds work for your heros. my monks, for example, didn't work well - they wasted all their energy too quick. i had to set them up with cheap spells only and it worked better.

Okay ;D
I have a hero team build for u. Good for farming sorrows furnace, greens, djinns etc I work it this way but u shoul be able to swap one hero for a tank if u aint a Warrior
W/any - me - dmg tank - str 12 axe 16 tac 6 Flail, Triple chop, Distracting blow, cyclone axe, executioners strike, lions comfort, sprint, rez/capture
use sprint a lot to get into good position and spam attack skills for masses of damage. Triple chop acts like 2nd executioners stike on one on one.
N/mo - Olias - SS/MM split - Death 15 Soul Reaping 11 Curses 9 Spiteful spirit, parasitic bond, dark bond, animate shambling horror, animate bone minions, blood of the master, death nova, ressurect
It just works - the melee zombies are best because they are durable and block ur opponents movement. He is monk just for res cuz he usually is last left alive cuz of dark bond. Thinking of trying mes for secondary. Shift lock SS if u like.
Mo/mes - Tahlkora - Bonder - Protection 15 Divine favour 12 Inspiration 8 Illusion 3 Inspired hex or leech signet, shield of absorbtion, reversal of fortune, aegis, blessed signet, life bond, balthazar's spirit, mending
U must lock the last 3 skills. Inspired hex or leech signet will keep her mana up at the right time. Aegis covers the bonds - she generally good at casting it at start of combat - as does shield and reversal, and gives her something to so if the bands fall and u are slow to put em up. Leftover points to illusion in case u get a hex worth casting with inspired hex.
E/Mes - Zhed - Flamin nuker - Fire 15 Energy Storgae 11 Inspiration magic 8 Illusion 2 Fire attunement, leech signet, incendiary bonds, flare, Searing Flames, Meteor shower, Inspired hex, rez sig
This seems to work ok - the incidiary bonds provide cover for SS and work well with searing flames. Doesn't often runout of energy with attunement, signet and Inspired hex providing good recharge.
Mo - Any avail henchman - healer
And this is how u bond. When u enter area cast balthazars spirit, then mending on Tahlkora, then put life bond on the healer, the nuker and the tank in that order. Keep Tahlkora's skill panel up at all times and monitor the bonds. If ur running for a long time rember to trigger Tahlkora's signet occasionly. Use the flag to keep the group just on the edge of ur aggro as u engage the enemy. Tahlk usually casts Aegis as u enter combat covering the bonds. U dont need to bond olias cuz dark bond keep him alive. His zombies trigger bleeding and poison. The ele's incendiary bonds cover SS and the AI wastes time removing them and parsitic bond.
Biggest weakness - lack of condition removal atm.

Set both of my monks with Word of Healing, dwaymas kiss, orion of healing, and varied condition removals, and a res of some kind...Seems to work so far
My olias is set as pure MM, but sometimes MM/SS as needed.
Zhed or Sousoke has Elemental attunemnet, Fire Attunement, Flare, lava arrows, rodgorts, tenais heat, meteor shower, and res..(almost infinite firepower, as long as they dont lose the enchantments)
Master of whispers is Curses:- Spiteful Spirit, Mark of pain, Suffering etc..
Warriors i setup with condition causing stuff, bleeding, crippled, blind etc..
Normally have their secondrys as monks, just for resurect skills...
I dont really use the rest, but i have winter, barrage and a couple of other good skills for the rangers when they are needed.

Regarding hero bonders. I tried it before and something went wrong. The hero removed the bond (to get energy back?), even thought I cast it manually.

btw Def you can take the paragon henchman - he uses the elite skill Cautery Signet - remove conditions from all party members. In fact, from I read here: gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Sogolonthe paragon henchman is a good healer. Possibly better addition to a team than Kihm who uses "difficult" protection skills.

I've been tweaking the build a bit (dropped mending or shield of absorbtion for mend condition and leech signet works well cuz of the AI's robot-like preciscion with interupts)- but Tahlk rarely drops the bonds with this build. Only maintains 5 enchantments at a time. Any healer seems to work well, but my primary testing was oro-farming in sorrows furnace and it works quite well there.
