I think everyone taking part in latest GvG feels that we start well and most often even have superiority over the other team, but eventually we break down and lose.
My feeling is that we don't know how to switch from an offensive mode to a defensive mode and back.
Offensive mode in my view is pushing forward, attacking the other team's defensive players, while defensive mode is the opposite: carefully retreating and attacking the foe's OFFENSIVE players.
For example, if one of our monks is energy drained and the other monk's elite skill was diverted then the team calls "defensive mode". Our offensive players can then attack the warriors, domination mesmer and ranger. All players in general try to avoid unnecessary pressure, kit more, switch to defensive sets, etc. This goes on until our defense is ready again, and then we can switch back to offensive.
Spikes, obviously, are important for both modes...
What do you think?

you spot on m8, Tactics r important here. Some things that could help.
1. Monks dictate the tempo of the fight, Like sam is saying every1 should have a defensive set, but for this sammy we need u to not be mute(give us a sign). Dont be afraid to fall back to npc's at flag, teams will fail against us for that. If pressured past npc's @ flag. defend catapult that is why we get beat after 9 mins. We fall to gate and they use cata. 2. Hide repair kit at start. What is the point of having home base and not using the enviroment and other advantages. I am noticing with jamies frontline partners in recent games r spiking in open play and not saving it for spikes. 3 The flag will give at most +10 moral, sometimes we lose more holding around instead of drawing onto npcs.
Its just little things r split is correct i think (damage, heal and snare)
